FXTM trading journal — how to import your trades

FXTM has its own card under Brokers & Platforms. You pick it first, then choose how your trades come in: MetaTrader 4 or 5, a CSV file, or by hand.

Worth knowing about MetaTrader sync

  • Only the current month is imported. Sync on the 25th and you get the 1st to the 25th.
  • MetaTrader has to stay open on your computer for the sync to run.
  • One MetaTrader instance per trading account, or the accounts mix in FixyTrade.

How far back does the imported history go?
Through MetaTrader, the current month only — the terminal hands over nothing older. Through a CSV file, as far back as your export goes.
Do demo accounts work too?
Yes. Demo and real accounts both sync, as long as MetaTrader stays open while it runs.
